Laura attended a wonderful event this week, the Henry Surtees Brooklands Team Challenge.
This was a charity kart event held at Mercedes-Benz World in aid of the Kent and Surrey Air Ambulance Trust and the Henry Surtees Foundation. The event was filmed by Sky F1 and will appear on the channel along side of the British Grand Prix this weekend. Continue reading
The meeting was held as a one day event with only 15 minutes practice on the morning before the race. Laura felt quite confident and after practice she went out to qualifying feeling positive and fairly upbeat. Laura would like to thank CRG for their valuable support during 2011. CRG was a warm and friendly team and she enjoyed being with them immensely. Although this is sad she has now decided that the time is right to try the move into cars.
